Located in Owings Mills, Metropolitan Cat Hospital is owned and run by Dr. Marian Siegel, a feline specialist. We serve Maryland, South Central Pennsylvania and The District of Columbia. We specialize in providing caring, professional care for cats.

Prior to becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Marian Siegel worked in the film and television industry as a director, photographer, film and videotape editor. She received two “Emmy” awards for programs she edited for Maryland Public Television. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania’s Veterinary School in Philadelphia in 1990, she returned to Baltimore where she established Metropolitan Cat Hospital in 1992.

Over the last forty years, Dr. Siegel has been involved in rescuing feral and stray cats, and in 2008 was awarded the “Good Doctor Award’ by the Maryland Veterinary Medical Association for her lifelong commitment with feral and stray cats.
