Located in Owings Mills, Maryland, Metropolitan Cat Hospital was established in 1992. Our hospital is owned by Dr. Marian Siegel. Our team of experienced professionals offer quality loving care for all you furry felines
About the Owner
Prior to becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Marian Siegel worked in the film and television industry as a director, photographer, film, and videotape editor. She received two Emmy awards for programs she edited for Maryland Public Television.
After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Siegel returned to Baltimore where she established Metropolitan Cat Hospital in 1992. Over the last 40 years, Dr. Siegel has been involved in rescuing feral and stray cats, and in 2008 was awarded the Good Doctor Award by the Maryland Veterinary Medical Association for her lifelong commitment with feral and stray cats.
